After decades in the business and technology world, I’ve returned to my first love—photography. During my college years, I called myself “the photographer of the unusual,” drawn to capturing what others might overlook. Life took me down different paths through corporate corridors and technological landscapes, but the artistic vision that first drew me to the camera never truly faded, merely waited patiently for its moment to resurface.

Today, in retirement, I’ve embraced a creative renaissance that celebrates the extraordinary hidden within the ordinary. My passion lies in impressionist abstract work that challenges conventional seeing—through intentional camera movement that transforms rigid scenes into flowing poetry, multiple exposures that layer reality into dreamlike narratives, and capturing the essence of people as they move through this complex world we share. Each image becomes a meditation on motion, light, and the beautiful unpredictability of human experience.

Where I once worked magic in traditional darkrooms filled with chemical baths and red-lit anticipation, I now craft my visions in the digital darkroom, where pixels become paintbrush strokes and software transforms into sculptor’s tools. This evolution from analog to digital hasn’t changed my core mission—to reveal what others might overlook, to find beauty in the blur between moments, and to create images that invite viewers to pause and see the world through a different lens. My camera remains what it has always been: a tool for discovering the unusual poetry that surrounds us every day.
